March – in like a Lion and out like a Lamb!

MARCH already? How did that happen?

March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb – except in Pittsburgh…then you can have BOTH in a few hours! LOL!

February brought ABUNDANCE – a much-deserved vacay for Tracy, precious visit with family for Sally, and ABUNDANT donations! We were overwhelmed!

In TWO DAYS, we had so many donations we had to shut down taking more – or the fire marshal would have shut us down!

We hate to shut down donations! We know you wait patiently to drop off on WED or SAT! We so appreciate your generous support… but sometimes we have to! Thank you for understanding! Thank you for realizing it’s not intended as a punishment or lack of gratitude! It’s survival!

At one point, I could not get to the back door, and the mountain of merchandise was taller than I am! My sister was on the other side, and I couldn’t find her! I thought she’d been buried (an avalanche was a real possibility!)

Sincere thanks to those who graciously gave many extra hours to hang (thanks, Cindy) and steam (thanks, NAWA, Sara, Dakota, and Shannon) to get things processed!

We’re back to our regular donation schedule for now…

• WED & SAT 11 AM-3:30 PM
• No Boxes or Hangers
• Bring in a bag you don’t want back
• Drive to the rear of our building, but please DON’T leave donations outside.
