The stories the women who come to Treasure House are amazing and reflect an incredible range of backgrounds, circumstances and personal challenges. See how they shopped on their own or with the help of THF Angels to find clothing to begin rebuilding their life and self-esteem.
We have helped women who have
- been affected by family emergencies such as fire or floods
- suffered at the hands of abusive partners and relatives
- spent time in prison or jail
- fought to overcome drug abuse
- sought clothes to help others in need in our area and as far away as Africa
- faced financial hardship as a result of job loss
- needed clothes to deal with physical changes due to medical conditions
02 — Partner Agncies
We are the closet for our partner agencies.
We are part of a caring network of organizations that invest in the women of our community. Through more than 70 partner agencies, we distribute gift certificates for clothing at our shop. We are their “closet!”
Our partner agencies don’t have the space to store or display clothing donations, or the extra staff to process merchandise. Working together with Treasure House, our partners can focus on their specific programs while we keep the clothing covered.
Together we are committed to making a difference and empowering dreams in the lives of local women facing challenges, echoing “You are WORTH it!” and “You can MAKE it!”
