“I started Treasure House Fashions in 2000 – 25 years ago – when I was 50 years old. The plan was to retire when I turned 75. I’ve been saying that for several years (much to my board’s anxiety). Well, that milestone hits this August and – I’m NOT RETIRING! I love what I do! I love the mission of Treasure House! I’m not done with what I want to accomplish. So I’m staying!

I recognize I’m at the twilight of my life. Do you know what happens at twilight? You get ready for FIREWORKS! This is when amazing displays are presented! I’ve invested blood, sweat, tears, and funds in this mission because I believe in it! I’m not rich and famous – but I am generous. In this divine adventure, my generosity has paid big dividends. I’ve been honored and blessed to be part of extending the tangible resource of clothing, as well as building self-esteem and HOPE for thousands of women on challenging journeys.

I invite you – I challenge – YOU to do the same…Put Your Heart in Treasure House! This is a BIG ASK – because this is a BIG mission. We work with over 60 agencies AND women experiencing suburban poverty. This is a legacy gift to help us fulfill our dreams: to become fully accessible, to create a workforce development area, and to ensure our sustainability for many years to come. Be generous.
